(Venus in Capricorn) inconjunct (Mars in Leo) 
Venus wonders about Mars... 

"He is discovering his love 
for me, in little touch 
-ins, everyday.  I am 

the hot meal.  I am 
the full plate.  I know 
this is why 

he orbits close. 
It inspires me 
to make more. 

I could try 
to convince myself, 
I cook for me, but 

it's clear I have ulterior 
motives.  Alone, I don't 
hunger after things. 

I eat better because he is 
here, a mouth to feed. 
So I feed him, 

little bird in winter, 
while I wonder what 
would happen if I lacked 

porridge to peck from. 
Would he find another 
bowl?  Or would he 

bring the oats?"
